Another funky new eatery in Covent Garden, serving Chinese and Japanese fusion food.
Highlights:The flesh and bun! And the speak easy, trendy, industrial deco.
Not so great: The starter was …so-so. And poor reception as it is in the basement.No deal breaker though.
Food: The flesh and bun dishes were very satisfying – we went for the tender and savoury pork belly. The warm, fluffy and slightly sweet bun has long been a chinese favourite. Superb sweet and savoury combo! The dessert of palm sugar custard doughnut was a good finish to the meal – sweet yet light. Mmm…
Price: Slightly on the high side. Around £60 for two.
Atmosphere: cosy, relax, trendy
Staff: very friendly
