Chinese cooking can be oh-so-easy. This is my idea of a lazy, post-work, couldn’t-be-bother dinner.
Ingredients:
- Egg noodles
- Minced beef (or pork or chicken)
- Spring onion
- Chilli (optional)
- Black pepper
- Garlic
- Sesame oil
- Oyster sauce
- Sugar (optional)
Instructions: 1. Stir fry the garlic and chilli in a wok / pot (whatever you have) 2. Add the minced beef to the wok, add oyster sauce, black pepper to taste 3. Once the beef is almost cooked, add a pinch sugar, the spring onion and a drizzle of sesame oil, continue to stir fry. 4. Meanwhile, soften the egg noodles in boiling water (just follow instructions on the packet. It usually takes about 3-4 mins) 5. Strain the noodles, serve it with the saucy minced beef stir through to coat the noodles. 6. Eat!
